Who knows. At the time yes, and it wasn't even close.

Comparing players against different competition doesn't work.

UK isnt much better than who NCSU has played. Also, Driskel played better against UK than he did against EMU. so that's an invalid point of yours.

Brissett has looked good against all 3 opponents he's played. Driskel hasnt looked good against either team he's played.

Close competition, but Driskel beat out Brissett and the team went 11-2. Pretty certain Driskels mobility is what gave him the advantage at the time. So, yes the right call was made.

Real question is, did Brissett make the right call to transfer? He would have been the starter after Driskel went down last year, and he would have surely had a leg up going into this year.

The QBs werent impactful at all when you went 11-2, so irrelevant point there. So if Driskel conitnues to play poorly/mediocre and Brissett continues to play well, it was still the right decision? I dont see how that's the case to choose the worse QB.

Looks like it, he is tearing it up at his new school meanwhile his old school still looks a little in disarray on offense going through OC after OC.

But maybe if he did get the call in 2013 he would have stayed instead of transferred. Cant blame him in transferring when a guy in his own class got the nod.

Too early to judge, next week will tell, there's a very good chance that Driskel has been told not to keep the ball on the read option in order to save him for this game (seriously look how low his attempts are through 2 games, this is a guy who has averaged 10 or so rushes a game in his career).

Driskel started poorly vs. UK, really, really poorly but from the start of the second through OT he put together one of the best stretches of any SEC QB this season outside of Aggie Land- 18-23 200 3 TDs.
