Playoff scenario

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I haven't seen it.

Let's AU and UGA for example. Say AU beats UGA and runs the murderers row table in the West and goes into the SECCG at 12-0 against the most difficult schedule in the country while UGA still wins the East but is 10-2 against a much weaker schedule.

Then UGA beats AU in the SECCG.

Who goes to the playoff? What do you think should happen and what do you think the committee would do?

SEC champ goes, not saying its fair, but it will happen. AU may also go, depends on what other teams look like at end of season.

In that scenario I'd say if only one SEC team goes then it would be whoever won the championship. Now if Florida State shits the bed and there's no other serious contender from the ACC then there'd be a case for both to get in. But they will avoid that if at all possible, IMO.
