What power does Spurrier have over Richt?
Or is it more of just a Spurrier having power over UGA kind of thing?

Any time UGA has huge chances of a NC and are in talks of winning a title, it seems like Spurrier comes in and beats them.

Bonus question: Will South Carolina lose 1 more SEC game than UGA again, letting UGA back into the SEC championship...again?

Imagine if Spurrier had stayed at UF.

but Richt is a nice guy.

If USCe didn't sweep stuff under the rug, UGA would have won.

It's just something mental. Nobody understands.

Good news is USC already lost and they have a tough schedule. Losing to them is hardly a death sentence these days

I'd say the schedules are about even actually. Y'all both play Auburn, Florida away from home, and Missouri.

Richt will never win a Natty at Georgia, he just doesn't have what it takes to win the big one. I like Richt and thought this may be he year but its not going to happen, he will choke in the big game. Yesterday was some of the worst play calling by their offense I have ever seen while in the redzone.

I'm worried about Kentucky now too. Thanks.

I think auburn at home and Florida in Jacksonville is a lot more manageable then both on the road

But can South Carolina not cough up a random loss?
Last year, they finally got the easy schedule UGA was so accustomed too, and blew it.
Now they have a harder schedule again (started with A&M), and one loss outside of Auburn pretty much means UGA is in the championship game.

Agreed.
I currently have Auburn beating both in my book, but I think USC drops a game to florida (or now maybe Kentucky), putting UGA back in the championship.

I don't see that UGA team beating UK. Their D is terrible, and Gurley is gassed after each run.

He doesn't choke. He's just not very good. He's always been a very stable, very mediocre coach.

Richt probably doesn't have a job, right?

OBC is the bulldawg spinjoli, just hoping he does'nt become a Pinkel puppet master as well.

SC gets Mizzou at Home, Auburn on the road. UGA, vice versa.

I think Auburn beats them both.

UK will have a lot of confidence after this game, but people won't be looking past them anymore in the east. They will play good games, but they won't come as close to beating UGA as they did Florida.

The question is now, was A&M that random loss or will it be someone else?
