Gave up almost 500 yards to Rice again...on 91 plays.

Allowed 2 rushers to go over 80 yards apiece.

Auburn will tear us to pieces if we don't get our shite together.

Now, the field was garbage and Penn Wagers needs to be confined to a padded room for the rest of his life, but we didn't play well.

Agree. I think Mastro's pressence (or more like sanders poor play) was missed tonight

It was tough to watch. Hoping Speedy and Henderson are okay

Like y'all could have some fun against us in two weeks

We were missing at least one guy who should be back, possibly more. But it wasn't pretty

I believe Speedy is fine.

Zay, on the other hand, looked in serious pain. He would be a huge loss. IMO, he's been our best DT. Very quick first step.

We had way too many missed tackles in this game.

You get worked up too easily. Our team couldn't have given less of a shite tonight and we still beat an FBS conference champion by four touchdowns.

I think he's right to be concerned about what we watched tonight. Now I'm not going to panic because I trust in sumlin and his staff, but if we bring that effort into any conference game we could easily lose them all.

But we were missing key players at key positions tonight.

Is it weird that I get more excited to watch us play on the road under Sumlin?

funny how when you start a true freshman at MLB suddenly everything looks bad.

Y'all need to relax. It was a controlled scrimmage. The simple fact is we have almost no LB depth. But this is how you get better. At some point this year, in a key situation, a few of those guys are simply going to have to play. If you don't know what they can do when the lights come on, you can't coach them up, and you can't know who to put in when that situation arises.

This was a chance to try them out and get them some practice. We played super vanilla on both offense and defense, held out Mastro, Matthews, Clear, etc and won by 28. I get that it displeases people, but it's like getting upset at a preseason NFL game. It's not about the game, it's about preparing your team for down the road.

I can handle a glorified scrimmage.

What upset me last night were:

Dropped passes

Missed tackles

Failure to go for the jugular (then again I understand Sumlin and Bailiff are good friends)

Horribly blown coverage

Not finishing plays

Field conditions: If those don't improve before October 11th, we're going to have some serious injury problems.

Precisely. Rewatching the game now and given the circumstances I don't see much to be overly concerned about going forward.

Biggest thing that concerns me about the game are injuries.

Dropped passes, missed tackles, etc.. were sloppy. The one thing I saw that did concern me a bit was Rice's ability to consistently get around the corners and turn it up field. This was not good, don't care who we were playing.

Not happy about the performance.

Not happy about the field.

Myles Garrett though...if we can keep him four years the future is astronomically bright.

Not a chance unless he gets hurt IMO
