Ga Tech losing

I know there are several AU fans here that follow Ga Tech. I grew up following them & AU. They are getting beat right now in their own stadium. If this isn't a sign to fire PJ, then I don't know what is.

They managed to pull it out somehow, but I agree, PJ won't ever approach his early success. Unfortunately they can't afford to eat his contract.

We went to the Tech vs Ga Southern game today. Tech kicked Southerns arse all first half. 35-10 at half time. Youngest daughter is a freshman at southern, so we rooted for the blue guys.
Left at halftime cause 6 year old was hot and cranky. So we went to the Varsity, got some dogs, then drove home. Listened to the game on the way, and damn if Ga Southern didnt put on a show in the second half and should have won the damn game.
Tech scores with 23 secs to go to win 42-38.

I went. Wife is southern grad. Tale of two halves. Southern took charge in the 2nd and had it wrapped up if not for a late fumble. Southern has a strong program, so this game didn't surprise me. I think Paul johnson is on a short leash, but i doubt they swallow his large contract this season. Unfortunately for GT fans there is little hope of competing for anymore than the sun bowl

Will Ga Southern be the next football school in that state? Tech obviously is committed to winning.

I don't know. They're definitely on the upswing, but they have a ceiling. The future of Tech football is starting to look bleak. Some of that has to do with them being in the ACC IMO. Their alumni is getting older and the newer graduates couldn't care less about football. PJ isn't doing a lot to rejuvenate the program. That offense....

Chad Morris would be a perfect fit, it would be a easy offense to go to from the triple option and he is familiar with the conference
