I just bought a samsung nx300 yesterday so that I could have rad arse pics of my baby whenever she falls out here in the next couple of days.
I think it's a cool camera, but I dunno much.
Why are cameras so expensive?
What settings should I put it on in the hospital or should I just use the auto setting until I get learnt on it?
Any cool website where I can get like 50-200 mm lens and not pay 300 bones?
I've already taken about 400 pictures. Mostly of dogs, my feet, squirrels, and trees.

I'm clueless about cameras, but congrats on becoming a dad. Also, welcome to the world of having to schedule birthday parties around football season.

Neat camera, has a lot of bells and whistles for the price. The real money is in lenses, not sure what lenses are available for those. Just keep it on auto until you get comfortable with the camera.

I prefer Canon products. I have a 7D and a selection of lenses. I usually photograph wildlife, especially birds.
Current cameras are extremely advanced, so if you use auto you'll be okay.
