Since the board will be locked tomorrow, let's get our pregame thoughts out in the open.

Carolina with their big bad best OL in the SEC has been rotating players due to performance issues in practice and in the ECU game .... particularly center and right guard. These positions will be two to keep an eye on, Pruitt might try to exploit those two potential weaknesses with his blitz packages.

Georgia will be without 3 of their potentially best receivers.

Mitchell- Hell I haven't seen him play in 2 years so it doesn't really matter in my opinion.

Justin Scott-Wesley is very good but he missed most of last year to ACL tear, so we are used to missing him too.

Jonathan Rumph- One of those guys that is Mr. Fireworks in practice but never does shite on the field.

Obviously you want as many weapons as possible, but I think UGA will be ok with receivers Michael Bennett, Chris Conley, Reggie Davis, and Todd Gurley. Got a new kid named Jeb Blazevich too... look for him at tight end and split out in the slot. Big white kid. Fast. True freshman.

Left Tackle John Theus hurt his knee the week after Clemson in practice, but was immediately on a bike, not an operating table, so he is likely to remain the starter at Left Tackle (not that he has a stellar record vs USC, but he is experienced if nothing else).

Richt was on the radio for 30 minutes this week with Buck Belue. The real takeaway was that the OL and QB are working with different snap count schemes because of the anticipated crowd noise. The scheme they used in 2012 went horribly wrong.

The new scheme could be genius, or a complete disaster. It doesn't matter how good the running backs are if you rack up drive-killing false start penalties or the defense keys on your snap and you (an offensive lineman) don't get a jump on him.

I honestly think this will be the single biggest factor in this game.

Snap Count - Crowd Noise

UGA wins easily. Not really sure why this is even viewed as a big game. SC just isn't that good.

You're trying so hard to discredit South Carolina when we've really only had one bad game.

The game will be close as it usually is. Can Georgia blow us out? Certainly. Will they? That's a different story.

UGA will likely win though.

I just dont know what to think about this game. From what I have seen Georgia should win by a comfortable margin.

There seems to be something about Willimas-Brice for Georgia though.

Im actually expecting a "closer-ish" game.

Not sure that Georiga is set up to exploit South Carolina's bigger weakness on defense in its secondary.

Interesting to see how this one turns out.

Your play has discredited you. All offseason other fanbases were questioning your DL and Secondary but y'all just insisted that you just reload. Thompson was going to better than Shaw, etc.

Obviously, that's not the case.

I challenge you to find a Gamecock fan that said this. I'll wait.

Seriously. Go.

You guys had yourself in Atlanta, no doubt. A spot in the playoffs. No one was crowing as much as cock fans this offseason.

It's supposed to be dawgs and cocks talking shite this week.

Mizzous will have their chance to talk shite.

I agree with CNB, I don't recall any cock fans ever saying Thompson was as good as Shaw. They did, however, assert he was better than Mauk and Mason.

Time will tell.

Yeah I did make claims that he was better than Mauk at least. He could still be, but for now I'll eat my crow and say Mauk is playing better.

Though Thompson isn't playing that bad.

From what we have seen, UGA should win this game easily. But, I would not put it past UGA to lose it or CSS to take it from them

Its just how that rivalry goes.

If I had to bet, I would say UGA wins by 14. But I won't be surprised if they drop it

He went JUCO and this is his last year of eligibility.

I agree, he has a ton of potential. If he could have taken his grades seriously in high school, he'd have 5 years of eligibility in college and taking a redshirt year for injury and another year here or there, you get alot more opportunities.

I've seen him play, he plays great. I have no doubt he'll make a practice squad for the NFL and earn is way onto a roster pretty quickly. If he stays healthy.

I guess I'll have to pull for USCe in this one. We all know that a Cock win over UGA will elevate aTm to #1 (snicker) and will make our victory over them in a few weeks look huge (snicker). And as an added bonus, I think we'll have an easier time in the SECCG with USCe than with UGA.
