At the NWA Touchdown club yesterday Arkansas AD Jeff Long dropped this bit of info, which comes after the news that every player on the roster has a 2.0 or greater GPA. Which is a good chance of not having ever happened at Arkansas.

Long also said Arkansas football coach Bret Bielema has taken team from 2.3 GPA to 2.7 in his tenure.

The staff taking tests and writing papers for your players have improved?

Seriously though...how hard is it to have a C average at Arky?

So you are saying that the hogs are smart enough that they know they suck? Now if the fanbase would just learn.

I didn't realize anyone could play with an under 2.0 GPA. So seems only natural its above 2.0 if they plan to field a full roster on gamedays.

A 2.7 at Arky is not like a 2.7 at UF

They don't stay longer than one semester of woodworking class. What you expect?

SC's football team leads the conference in APR, I don't think they have press releases for GPA, but they do for APR.

so basically they are all sufficiently low enough across the league to be embarrassing enough to not be brought up with boosters?

Big 6 don't label players with GPA's, we list them as draft picks
