If you want to try to strap a camera to an eagle good luck with that.

Split the screen on the jumbotron during flight. My wife volunteers at the Raptor Rehabilitation Center, I'll have her throw the idea out there once she gets more established there.

I suppose you could put removable eyepieces on the hood as too mimic their regular hood.

A contour would be a batter choice.

I've seen them hook them up to Falcons to watch them dive bomb their prey. It was pretty cool. I'll try to find the video.

LINK
Found it.

I was going to say, wasn't this idea pitched a few years ago and was shot down. The reason being it could possibly mess with the eagle's flight?

Maybe I'm thinking of something else though

That could easily be a reason given, but I would think that if the birds can learn to fly with GPS trackers and the leather straps attached (Spirit once flew with red and blue ribbons on his legs) that a small GoPro on a mount like what the peregrine was wearing would be easily doable with some practice time.

I think it would be a kickass idea. If Georgia has UGA cam with a camera mounted on that ugly mutt, why can't we have an eagle-eye cam?

Several people did. The War Eagles' Twitter Account said they would not be wearing them
