This is really sad news. Prayers for his family and friends.

I imagine Saturday's broadcast will be a difficult one for everyone involved.

Man that's crazy. I saw him just the other day at the Vandy game doing his thing.

Damn man. I'm gonna miss his that guy. RIP.

My buddies and I always jokingly ripped him for the old broadcasts where he always seemed to not have a view of what happened down on the field when they'd "go down to Stan to get his perspective. "

His voice will be sorely missed. Won't be the same without him. No obstructions from his viewpoint now.

RIP, Stan.

Yeah he was a character. He was always my favorite of the broadcast team though, he had one of those old school gruff Mississippi accents. Not hearing his voice for games and rebel yell hotline is gonna be weird.

I never listened to him, but y'all were all so supportive when Jack passed away this week that I would like to return the favor. Might try to go back and listen to some of his broadcasts if y'all have some good clips.

RIP Stan

Sandroni loved everything about OM... He'll be missed... His son, Todd, was a standout safety for the Rebs back in the late 80s... Thoughts go out to Stan's family and friends.

Damn that's a great picture.

Stan looks pretty healthy there. Crazy how shite like that can happen with almost no warning.

Smoked like a freight train and lived to be 88. I had a great aunt like that that smoked a pack of Virginia slims every day and lived to be 99
