Amari Cooper has more receptions (25) than 18 TEAMS have completions.

Alabama junior wide receiver Amari Cooper is off to a huge start this season, totaling 25 receptions for 319 yards and 1 touchdown. As CBS Sports' Dennis Dodd pointed out on Tuesday,Cooper has more receptions than many teams have total completions. Those teams that have played two game thus far include Washington, Florida Atlantic, Vanderbilt, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, LSU, Air Force, UTEP, Minnesota, North Texas, Georgia Tech, Georgia Southern, New Mexico, and Navy.

Cooper leads the nation in receptions per game and receiving yards. Last week against Florida Atlantic, Cooper tied former D.J. Hall's performance against Tennessee in 2007 for most receptions for an Alabama player in a single game with 13.

Yeah and the vast majority of them are bubble screens which is basically just a running play..nothing to see here.

Yep, a receiver who can actually run routes and get yards after the catch instead of being tackled in open space as soon as his feet touch the ground. Nothing to see there.

Well when your top receiver has 6 catches for 4 touchdowns and 48 yards a catch you don't need to pass as much.............

That's more TD's than Coker and Sims have combined to throw.

Yeah, our offensive coordinator is setting up our guys for success by giving Cooper one on one match-ups on the outside, while also helping his new quarterback(s) to gain confidence. Really shows how Kiffin is one of the brightest offensive coordinators within tSEC.

I don't care how Bama does it, but getting Cooper the ball is never a bad thing.

Only 1 TD?!?

UF's True Freshman back-up QB has more TDs, and he has only attempted 2 passes
