The third-year sophomore was hit from behind in the wreck, according to theadvertiser.com, and suffered a forehead gash requiring stitches as well as a bump on the head. The report noted Dural missed practice both Monday and Tuesday and did not meet with media, and with no comment from LSU coach Les Miles, it is uncertain whether Dural could be available to play Saturday

The car that hit him had a Roll Tide sticker on it.

They could easily get by without him for the next 3 weeks, but he'd be nice to have against State. Hope he recovers quickly.

It actually might be a blessing in disguise. He's already the #1 and he also needs his reps but the chance to get more reps for our freshmen might not be the end of the world.

If he's out against State that's a different story.

Definitely glad he's ok. We lost Big Charles Mosley to a serious car wreck before the season - he and his parents are fortunate to be alive but Big Charles broke his leg all to pieces and the surgery was serious. The surgery went well and he's recovering and back at UT but he has a long road ahead of him. Great to hear Dural got lucky!
