We're just starting Week 2 and Will Muschamp announces another significant season-ending injury.

During the SEC Football Coaches Media Teleconference, Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp announced that freshman cornerback JC Jackson would be undergoing shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum. According to Muschamp, it’s an injury Jackson dealt with multiple times in high school and the labrum “slipped out” against Eastern Michigan.
“JC Jackson will have surgery on his shoulder next week. A labrum issue he had in high school that was repaired and continues to slip out,” Muschamp said Wednesday. “We felt at his young age, just go ahead and try and get it fixed and move forward.”
Jackson, even as a true freshman, was expected to make an immediate impact for the Gators.
“[He was] a guy that certainly was going to help on special teams and at corner is going to be an outstanding player. I’m disappointed for him and we’ve got to move forward,” Muschamp said.
With his freshman season virtually over, it more than likely will become a redshirt season for the Immokalee, Fla. native.
This is the second season-ending injury for the Gators already in 2014 as tight end transfer Jake McGee suffered multiple fractures in his leg in the season-opener.

Not sure new workout routines would have prevented this, though.

Nor would it have prevented the issue with Jackson. It's an injury he has had on and off since high school.

Please explain how the injuries listed had anything to do with S & C. Are you related to an unemployed S & C coach that is looking for work?
