I'd like to create a Landmass only awards subset

and I'd like your input. These awards will be awarded by the posters of the two Landmass boards and will be awarded only to Landmass posters, outside of the few we delegate to non-Landmass posters.
Here are the awards I've thought of so far.
Jack Cristil Award
The most objective poster on either board. A real honor it would be to receive this prize.
Ed Orgeron Award
Most incoherent poster on either board. Likely the most hated poster as well.
sorantable Award
Awarded to the poster who mostly flip flops between optimism and pessimism.
engie Award
This is one of the crown jewels of the Landmass Awards and would be awarded to the most delusional and blisteringly hateful towards other fanbases. This is an award to be sought after.
Haley Barbour Award
Awarded to the poster who most exemplifies the spirit of the Landmass in lifestyle and posting history.
William Faulkner Award
Awarded, every year, to our favorite Modernist herald, raymondmercer.
Eudora Welty Award
Awarded to the poster with the best content in his or her posts, whether it be writing style, humor, etc.
Gene Taylor Award
Awarded to a non-Landmass poster who best exemplifies the spirit of the Landmass, like our great former Congressman.
Any more suggestions? I'd like to make this a seasonal thing, with the awards being given at the end of the foosball season and the evaluation period starting in August of the next year.

I don't have access to the State board, so I'll say this here:
I got suckered into engie's schtick a few times when I first encountered him, but it's easy after a while to see what he's doing. He gets purposefully pig-headed and bullish at times to rile and provoke some of our more volatile posters. The problem has become that I think he really only gets pank and AC anymore. Everyone else who engages him does it in a generally reasonable manner ( DVag, WIO, OB) and then the rest of us just ignore his posts.
The problem with only getting pank and AC to bite is they're both tells who don't believe what they're posting any more than engie does half the time. I've been on this board or another with AC for a few years now and he's just that way. Most of the outlandish shite he says he can't back up and he knows it. It's not an accomplishment to call him out as a hypocrite. He knows it.
All in all, I like watching the shite show that happens when engie posts. I agree with OB that there's been several times when I saw engie saying shite that could be debated, but I just don't have the energy to invest in that shite anymore. Especially now that Destiny is out .
And frick y'all's list of reasonable BearRanters. The only truly delusional Rebel posters are Fireman and Rebman.
Of these Rebel posters, how many actually are unreasonable when not purposefully trolling?

AC and pank are hard to get because they're always "on". I get that State posters don't get to see them "off", but they're pretty reasonable.
In kind, the only State posters who are actually delusional, IMO, are... Coach? MaroonNation is pretty bad, too. And SouthofHere. Those are the only ones I default to assuming their post sucks. But I've even seen Coach and MN make good posts before.
What I'm really driving home is that we're actually a good group of Landmassians - both sides. We each have our shitty posters, but they're really the exceptions and not the rules.

The Barry Hannah Award
The poster most likely to crush the spirits of the new poster and cause them to never come back to the site again.
Is more of a personal experience but I was trying to think of a Mississippian to name an award after.
I was a big fan of Barry Hannah while in undergrad. So, I thought it'd be a good idea to take a class in creative writing from him.
Wrong.
That dude crushed any dreams I ever had of writing fiction. What he wrote on my story, "I am befogged. I have no clue what is going on."
Basically called it a jumbled mess.

I am a big fan of the Southern Gothic style, but, and I say this with all due respect to Hannah and his work, but I read Yonder Stands Your Orphan in 2013 and I swear there were six or seven incidents of or references to genital mutilation in the first eighty pages. It's like he became a "shock jock." I was unimpressed.

FWIW, I think I'm a candidate for the RG award. I tend to be pretty abrasive when arguing and can get stuck in that mode.
