Yeah. Seems like much ado about nothing. You know I trust their insider, but he did not really say anything too groundbreaking today.

Anyone who actually thought Butch believes the shite he spews in public is a real simpleton.

The part about Butch building a cult of personality doesn't surprise me. Behind the scenes,major college football is the slimiest sport out there imo.

The part that really concerned me was this supposed friction between Hart and CBJ. I just find it hard to believe that Butch is making this big of a deal about the TV studio or whatever.

I swear to god, I'll be done with this shite if he somehow pulled a Kiffin and bolted to Mich after this year. fricking. Done.

Even that didn't seem like that big of a deal to me. Guy just said they had an argument last month, which is definitely believable.

I am not too worried either way.

Part that concerned me was the guy saying some of the assistants suck. I have been worried about that since day 1.

He is a walking cliche and does some really sophomoric shite, but him not treating the players well surprises me. I've always heard the exact opposite of that. Some people get pushing kids and mistreatment mixed up.

As to the assistant thing, I still don't think some of the assistants are very good. That part doesn't surprise me too much...but I'll take elite talent and decent coaching over and elite coaching staff and decent talent any day.

It's a slippery slope when the AD and HFC start having friction. Maybe not a big deal now but it sounds like Hart hasn't kept his word to Butch about some things that he promised would happen.

OTOH, I'm shocked in a way that Butch is pissed about a fricking TV studio. He was this fricking close to being at Colorado but instead, he's at a place that has facilities that are second to no one in the country. Seems kinda petty to me.

I agree. Thig, Azzani, RG and Stripling have earned their keep. Bajakian is the one that really needs to change his philosophy imo. This no read option with a pro style QB is a fricking disaster so far. I think the time is coming that we will see just how much like Fulmer Butch wants to be. Hopefully, he's as cutthroat as Basicillo makes him out to be.

I read the Wharton stuff from a few different posters on both sites. Hopefully not true.

Well this thread is depressing as frick. I will not read too much into it though. I've only heard how much the players love CBJ from a family friend within the AD.

Rumblings about the assistants have been going on for a year now. I believe we will see some turnover at season's end. CBJ wants to win and is committed to it. To win the SEC, you need elite position coaches and coordinators. CBJ knows this better than any of us.
