I know we're probably leery about a true freshmen in his second game returning punts in a hostile environment in a big game....but we're doing a disservice by not putting IM on PR.
Yes, yes...I know everything changes the first time he drops a punt. And yes...Reggie did very well last week. Surprised me for sure. But he's not a threat to take it to the house every return like Imac is.

Richt now says Rumph is out with another hamstring pull. Maybe it's unfair because I'm not there, but I'm starting to get the impression that he's a little soft. It's always something with him.

Yea, idk, I agree with this but I just cringe thinking of IMAC putting one on the ground at billy brice. But, if they trust him...
Hell, I was just glad to see Reggie Davis learned wtf a fair catch was.

I can't remember Reggie making one bad decision. He fair caught when he should have and showed a little something on returns. Very surprised like I said.
However, I hope that they maybe split the returns, or do 2/1 reggie/imac, something to get the ball in his hands.

I was thinking the same thing. Only reason I'd be against it is I would worry that IMAC would try to do too much with limited snaps. Still, if they have USC pinned deep I say do what you suggested. Otherwise let Reggie show off the skills he learned from Logan Gray.

Yeah I'm done waiting on Rumph to step up, really won't bother me if he ever plays at this point, really hate it for the kid but time to move on

IMAC may be having the same issues Davis had last year with dropping returns in practice. They only used him late in the game when it was pretty much out of reach on a punt return so it is probably just a trust issue. He showed the kind of punt return explosion we have all been craving but none of that ability means anything if he can't field it consistently or has an issue with fumbles. We don't get to witness practices and such but Davis was reliable and that's what we need more than anything.
