I remember when this was announced I couldn't figure out what possible advantage there could be for them to move the game away from campus and never heard of any

Of course it wouldntve changed the outcome of the game but anyone know why they do this?

So they wouldn't have to play in their stadium.

I think it might have had some to do with us having to travel to Nashville two years in a row and them doing us a favor.

It was a favor to us because we were having to go there for two years in a row. I guess they thought it was a good compromise so more of our fans could get in the game. It ended up pretty much being a home game for us.

I've kinda always thought this and the fact that they had a good crowd on hand for last years game against us and thought that it would transition over.
