*One caveat: we played San Jose St.
Now that that's been said, there were a couple of bright spots where we need improvement.
Monty had a stretch where he was unblockable. I'm remembering what a luxury it is to have a DT who can rush the passer.
And if Quan can continue to get north and south and get slippery, and dare I say become a real threat, it will be big. We will need those yards come November.

Blackson played well on saturday too. He didn't get the stats that Monty did, but he was very disruptive.

Their OL was awful. I try hard not to take much away from Saturday's performance. SJSU's QB had no hope of standing straight.

Does Blackson have unusually short arms? He's always blowing the line up disrupting shite but the rb is always just a tad bit out of arms reach. He usually gets a hand on them but not enough to rap up

Was thinking this during the game. I noticed it against Arky too...
