Murphy starting at RB? Not that I am complaining as both guys wil get their touches. Just wondering if that has any meaning.

Hansbrough looked pretty pedestrian on Saturday. Could be the OL, too. But I wasn't overwhelmed.

He's an "OR" with Hansbrough. Has always been an "OR" but Hansbrough's name had always been listed first. I don't know if there is any significance to it.

This. I am a little concerned about the lack of playing time for some of the back ups so far. If someone gets hurt, someone else is going to be thrown in the fire. Steward would be a huge help with the depth at RB.

both backs looked great last Saturday WHEN there was any sort of good blocking going on. The O-line (as well as the entire offense really) is still a bit of a work in progress, but, I'm not the least bit worried about the running backs..

It means that without Steward there will be plenty of touches for Murphy at RB without lining him up at slot, though he will still probably run some plays there too.

Since it's his senior year, the staff wants him to be recognized for what he's accomplishing, and he's good enough to warrant a starting job, just like Russell. It's not hard to figure, don't make more out of it than it is.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Stewart to play. i will be surprised if he play all year the way the staff is being coy about his progress. Hip issues can be months in healing.
