But he kept calling those plays, nothing but bubble screens and sideways passes and backward passes and passes short of the first-down marker on third and even fourth down. The Trojans' second-longest pass of the night was a 7-yarder from Max Wittek to Marqise Lee in the fourth quarter. Success? Not really.

It was fourth-and-8.

Kiffin called so many short routes that Washington State cornerback Damante Horton jumped one of them with 27 seconds left in the second quarter, intercepting Cody Kessler's screen and returning it 70 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7.

Agreed. Plus, that gif sucks balls no matter when it's used.

Bama has more/better skill position players than USC. Put the ball in their hands early and often. Bubble and screen are easy/safe ways to do that.

We are hiding our offense for the SEC schedule.

That is about all the excuses I have to offer.

My favorite part of that gif is the fatty on the left going "They're not that bad"

Nick Saban has never lost to Tennessee since he came to Alabama. Once. only once, Tennessee kept it within 20 points. Only a blocked FG kept them from winning.

Do you happen to know who that coach was?

You may go now.

No. USC had way better QB, WR, and RB.
