Just taking a look at the offensive numbers of the various SEC teams through the first two weeks and noticed something interesting. Alabama has run quite a few plays so far. In fact, they are among the tops in the SEC with that stat.

Texas A&M - 177 plays
Mississippi State - 166 plays
Tennessee - 162 plays (despite this stat, are 13th in total offense)
Ole Miss - 158 plays
Alabama - 152 plays
Kentucky - 144 plays
LSU - 144 plays
Auburn - 143 plays
Missouri - 140 plays
South Carolina - 138 plays
Arkansas - 114 plays
Vanderbilt - 113 plays
Florida - 86 plays
Georgia - 67 plays

I guess we have decided to go HUNH as well.

Yup, wasn't he opposed to the HUNH in the name of player safety? Why was he running it with Blake Sims at quarterback?

we have so many plays because we have dominated time of possession in both games so far. we are doing a bit of no huddle, but not to hurry up, rather to give sims more time to get the plays aligned and since he seems more comfortable doing it this way

If it weren't for us having 7.5 minutes less of game time, I think we are number 2 or 3 on this list.

Desparate times for the gumps when they arebragging about being 5th in the SEC.

UGA on the other hand just gives it to Gurley for a one and done.

Too bad that didn't work out for you in the 2012 SECCG

We ran the no huddle some of the time but we weren't doing a hurry-up.

Nope, that's kind of a myth in regards to Saban. He said they should look at to see if HUNH caused more injuries and asked if that is what the game is supposed to be, a continuous play pace game.

Fatman jumps on the player safety stance and it got linked to Saban. it was a rule change that helped the HUNH, play clock change and they're trying to get it back a little closer to pre play clock change style of play. You all know this but it's lot more fun to use y'alls narrative against Saban.

Bama ran 80 plays vs WVU, about 20 more than they ran using the HUNH.

About damn time the rest of the conference went this way. HUNH is the only offense our defense can stop.

Saban was just trying to slow down everyone else while he figured out how to play faster. Textbook Saban, say one thing and do another.
