I'm not feeling as strongly about A&M after USCe's performance yesterday

I think USCe was just an overrated preseason team.

The West will still come down to Auburn or Bama in November.

Don't put any stock in USCe yesterday.

Tried to talk a buddy out of betting on them. They took a big kick in the nuts against AtM and yesterday was not going to be their bounce back game. They were and are looking ahead to UGA as their statement game.

We will see what the line looks like on USCe and UGA next week, but I've been thinking about that one for a few days and I expect a STRONG showing by the Cocks. UGA better be ready or USCe will win outright.

USC will most likely win...the cocks will be up for it and will erupt. Talk will shift to UF in the east after we wrestle with the cats.

its not like ECU sucks arse.

they have a pretty potent offense and they wrecked UNC and NC St last year.

You simply can't replace that much talent lost to the NFL and be competitive the next year.

USC's performance vs ECU has exactly what to do with how strong A&M is? So now it means the West will come to down to Aubbie and Bama because of said performance?

Hope to God you don't bet real money on CFB?

You've got to include LSU and A&M in that discussion. The west is wide open.

Yup. ECU went 10-3 w/ a bowl win last year. I think SCAR was definitely overrated at #9, and maybe still overrated at #21, but ECU has a P5 level program if not a P5 conference membership.

We didn't look that good at all for the most part against ECU except maybe in the second half we tightened up pretty good on defense. Can't really say about the offense, we only ran two different plays for the last quarter. Bubble screens and runs. I expect us to give UGA our best shot but don't think we can tackle Gurley even we are pretty much doing everything else right.

ECU is a damn good mid level team. Like La Tech or even that North Dakota bison team.

Still I believe you are correct that USCe is not near as good as people think, and I am still not sure our Defense is awesome. No doubt we've improved over last year though, and I think our O will keep scoring (said it all offseason despite the manziel/evans gone comments all over the rant.)

I guess seeing Kenny Hill and company at Southlake all throughout HS made me more confident though.

It is hard to say right now what to think about TAMU overall. I have a lot more respect for Texas A&M's football than I did before the season began. I have a lot more respect for Sumlin today than I did a month ago as well.

I don't know if there's enough sample size to really say where USC is at. I will be watching USCw vs UGA because I think after that game we will know exactly where SCAR is.

And honestly they don't have to win to prove to me they are a good team. UGA is the best team in the conference right now based on the games we have seen thus far.

Really, after you guys gave up 34 to UAB? Wow

ECU beat UNC by 25 last year and lost to Va Tech by 5...

So, they are a very good mid major and would easily compete with the bottom tier of the ACC
and after watching you guys, give your team all they could handle.

If you're going to beat Aggie you're going to have to outscore them.
