I know it has happened due to weather, but I don't remember a scheduled Saturday game. Just thought it was strange that Enterprise is playing Jeff Davis at Cramton Bowl at 11am tomorrow. Any of you Montgomery guys know why?

I remember watching Hoover play the HS that Tebow went to, Tebow was already gone, on a Saturday. That was when Prosch was still at Hoover. It was an ESPN game.

May have and I just missed it. I was a little perplexed by the scheduling and trying to imagine how sucky it would be to be in Cramton Bowl at 11am.

Please do not confuse a fine, upstanding Auburn man like Jay Prosch with the dirtbag bammer former Hoover coach Probst.

fairly common in Georgia. In city of Atlanta they play on friday afternoons. They dont want "the crowd" gathered after dark. Too dangerous.

Seriously. This.

Jay Prosch is a fine young man and gonna be a helluva NFL player. Probst...scumbag.

Because Lanier (Thursday), Lee (Friday), and JD (Saturday) all have home games at the Bowl this weekend. LINK It's rare for this to happen in The Gump. it happened in Mobile 3 or 4 times a year at Ladd Stadium before most if not all the bigger Mobile schools got their own field.

Very uncommon. It's very rare that 3 of the 4 teams that use the Bowl for home games have home games the same weekend. I have followed Montgomery football for 22 years. It's a rareity. Trust me.

OK that makes sense. I was at EHS this week and was told it was for "security" reasons which I thought was horseshite.

Tebow was still there when they played that game. Hoover wrecked him.

I was talking about the coach. Probst is his name. Somebody earlier in the thread said Tebow was the QB. I don't remember him playing that game. I just remember John Parker's brother Ross was the QB for Hoover. Hoover spanked Nease pretty good that day.
