Most Important SEC Win Last Week Was LSU over Wisconsin

According to Adam Zucker for CBS College Football. Said that it would have been a huge set back for the SEC if one of its top teams had lost to another top team from another Power 5 conference. Heard that on sports radio here in Alabama this morning.
I know that we like to see SEC teams lose non conference games. I get it. But, it is pretty important for all of us if SEC teams take care of business in the early non-conference schedule. Perception is huge in all of this.
So, yes, even I wanted Alabama to beat West Virginia last week, as glorious as an upset would have been. It doesn't help any of us when one of us lose.

Agreed, and it couldn't have gone any better. LSU looked like trash and the conference's image was still salvaged with the W. Win/win in my book.

Screw that. I am still pissed that Gordon didn't get the ball in the second half.

Emotionally, I want them to lose every game. But, I know that ultimately makes the SEC mean less.
They can lose every conference game.
They can lose every conference game.

Who really gives a shite?
An SEC champion will more than likely be in the playoff.

that's actually a great point with this 13 person playoff group deciding who gets into the playoff

Yep and contrary to the belief here, we shout down the next following runs by him and his team. Like stuffed them.

Alabama losing makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, so no.

it was an important game looking at the big picture.
UGA-clemson was more important though IMO

If we really want 2 teams in; Tenn has to beat OK
If LSU had lost, that chance would already be over

In the world of 4 Team playoffs by committee or the old BCS computer ranking/eye test... your conference foe's performance against out of conference opponents is kinda a big deal..

I'm not sure what that has to do with the fact that if Wisconsin had Jordan Jefferson at QB, LSU would have lost by 2 TDs. But again, I'm happy for the conference.
