Can't control weather, players were suspended for that game. If they were suspended for another week, it would equal a 2 week suspension.

Agree that the decision belongs to the coach and school. Afterall, if it backfires no one else is affected.

What was ridiculous was TAMU's first game in the SEC and sumlin had suspended 2 players for the first game against some cupcake then that game was cancelled well in advance and they played UF the next week
Sumlin claimed since they were suspended against the cupcake that's the game they would miss ( now played in October or December) instead of the first game (UF)

this is some of the most absurd rationalizing I can recall in this forum. it's like they thought about playing in the game so, that's punishment enough. it's completely ludicrous that the suspension is lifted.
