He has retired, but his status for the season will technically have to be IR, it's part of that CBA (collective bargaining agreement.) He's at SC working right now though with our team.

Pats waived him last night.

He should find a squad pretty quick though.

I'm pretty sure Bruce changed his number from 3 to 10. That is what I have seen on social media anyways.

With his IR status he has to sit out at least the first 4 games. After that I think he's either going to make the roster or not.

Pats Sign Quarles to Practice Squad

quote:

The Patriots signed defensive tackle Kelcy Quarles, who cleared waivers Thursday, to the practice squad and released tight end Allen Reisner on Friday.

Awesome. This explains his tweet from the other day that he got the playbook down but everyone who saw it was wondering which playbook, since it appeared he wasn't signed.

Texans fear No. 1 overall pick Jadeveon Clowney has a meniscus tear that could require arthroscopic surgery, per source.

Culliver had a 35 yard Fumble Recovery for a TD, but injured his neck later and his status is up in the air for next week. It looked to be a neck injury at first, but it has been ruled a concussion.

Succop went OFF today against KC, good to see him do that. KC's new Kicker missed a FG, Succop was perfect.

Yep - it's official. Clowney is out 4-6 weeks with the tear - it's gonna require surgery. He landed on it weird.

Also, did anyone see the kick to the face Spencer Lanning took yesterday?
