SECRant Football Power Rankings: Week 1

It's here, it's finally here! The day you've all been waiting for. The day when the SECRant 2014 Football Power Rankings is released!

Sorry, had to get that out of my system. Anyway, welcome to the Week 1 Edition of the SECrFPR. If you aren't familiar with the SECRant Power Rankings, here's a brief rundown. We have 2 posters from each of the 14 SEC fanbases that submit their personal power ranking of the SEC teams on Sunday/Monday. We take 2 Guest Votes from tRant. We then combine those 30 rankings to form what you see here.

Once you scroll down you might notice that the PR looks a little different than previous version...yeah, Georgia being #1...seriously though, the Football Power Rankings Committee (FPRC) has been working on a more eye-appealing format, and I think it's an improvement over the previous versions. Next week, we will add a small schedule to each team's section as well as their overall record. If you have anything you'd like to see added, we're open to suggestions. A few acronyms you might want to know:

FPV - First Place Votes
APS - Average Points Scored
APA - Average Points Allowed
TL:DR - Too Long:Didn't Read

Alright, let's talk some football. Hell of a way for the SEC to debut. UGA made Dabo and that bath salt smoking tiger cry, LSU had an incredible comeback over Wisky, WVU made Saban look human, A&M shocked the entire state of South Carolina, Arkansas showed they actually do have a pulse, and Florida...lost to the weather. Never a dull week for the SEC

Before we get to the PR, Semo and I would like to thank the Football Power Rankings Committee who created all this. It'd be impossible to do this without them. We'd also like to thank Week 1's randomly selected Guest Voters: IT_Dawg & dawgfan24348. We had around 40 Guest Votes submitted this week, so thanks Ranters
