I proposed to my girlfriend in The Grove today, and everything went amazing! It is going to be awesome to be able to come back to games and see the spot where i popped the question to my wife. I got Scott Burton to take photos of the whole thing so we should have some great memories from it. Just thought I'd post this here because im excited haha

You used a hash tag so this "inb4" is negated.

Now post pics of your fiance

Congrats

Congrats

About exactly 3 years i proposed to my wife at the Fountain.

Had my little bro hiding and when we passed the fountain (taking walks on campus was a common thing for us) nothing was there, as we passed he setup some flowers and some photos of us and the ring right on the fountain. He text me a code word saying he was ready then we came back i proposed and he snapped some photos of it happening. Then went on to City Grocery to celebrate.

Every time we are in Oxford we go there. It's always been her favorite place on campus.

Congrats again

Thanks guys! I kind of did the same thing with some flowers and a ring sitting on a bench in the grove. Had her friend tell her there was an "accounting" event there then I came out and surprised her. We celebrated at Boure with both of our families. Now we have to get ready for our trip to Nashville this weekend!

Congrats, brother! Don't let anyone tell that this is anything but the start of your best years. I've never been happier than since I got engaged and married my wife. Hope it's the same for you.

Thanks! I have a feeling that it will be the same. There is just something about finding "the one"

An old man told me when I got married that the first year of marriage is a breeze...

He says, it's the last year that you gotta worry about.

Congratulations

Get ready to be pestered into misery during the planning stage. And you'll soon come to realize that people in the wedding business (i.e. Caterers, venues, decorators, etc. ) are a bunch of thieves. Almost more so than the funeral business.

More like boyfriend #amirite?

ETA: Seriously though, congrats. Nobody tells you how awesome married life is. The wedding planning is going to get rough, especially close to wedding time. Half the reason dudes are so happy to when the wedding gets there is because after it's over, the women folk start acting civil again.

Pretend to throw in an opinion every now and then or she will think that you don't care.

Congrats!
