Okay, lot of questions about this lately.

Mizzou plays
@ Toledo this year
@ Arkansas St next year
@ Memphis in 2019
@ Wyoming in 2020

The reason for this is the move to the SEC, currently we still have 2 openings in our schedule for NEXT year. 1 of these will probably be another road game at some mid major conference. Due to the change in conferences our schedule got totally nuked and we've been scrambling to fill any gaps with whatever we can find. The simple truth is that Mizzou will be playing at mid majors for the next 5 years and it wasn't really avoidable.

Anymore questions about why Mizzou plays @notBig5

You should worry about winning a home game this year

Are you guys too poor to pay the mid-majors to come to you?

Mizzou doesn't want to pony up $4-5 mil in game fees in one season, I can't really blame them.

We were in the same boat and it hurt our OOC schedule the last couple years. However, we play Arizona State next season, and UCLA in 2016/2017.

We're paying them to come to coastal states where their fans can parlay a vacation into their tickets... you know how much they would have to pay someone to go to Missouri... it's not really feasible.

Mizzou has ZERO non-conference games scheduled for 2016, I can only imagine the shite schedule we're going to have. We have to find a Big 5 team to fill at least one game though, no doubt that will be a road game.

what makes it even more difficult is that an entire P5 conference refuses to play either of us

Our win streak lasted 33 years. How adorable that USCjr is thumping their chests over a 2 year win streak.

Yep the big schools are scared, they feel if they lose to Alabama or Oregon it's ok, but god forbid they get beat by A&M or Mizzou.

Add in some P5 schools don't want to go on the road or they already have their OOC schedule made up. They want those home and home. I don't blame Mizzou for playing at Toledo. Already have UCF(BCS team), Then home and home with Indiana. Indiana is soft but they still have FBS talent, harder hitting guys. Doubt if they want to travel to or have another Power 5(along with Indiana) on the schedule, then go through the SEC schedule.

Too cheap.

Id expect Wyoming and Memphis to be bought out though.
