He was supposed to OV Tennessee for the Missouri game, but it will be an unofficial visit.
Kyle will use his OV at Tennessee for December 12-14 weekend.
I honestly think this is good news for the Vols as I considered them a long shot for Phillips.
I also think him and Ugo Amadi are a package deal from mid Tenn and both are feeling the Vols right now.
We shall see. Just thought I'd pass along what I've been told.

I hope you're wrong but I think I agree. Us looking to flip this 4* Mook kid from VT means we feel not so great about either Ugo and Bridges.

I feel good about bridges. Ugo would be amazing though. I remember when he committed all of the Tennessee fans said he wasn't a priorty. But that's none of my business

Tennessee can offer a lot of these positions more playing time than we can right now, honestly, because they are short on high performers. Also, every kid in the state has been offered a scholarship by the Vols so a lot of these guys have friends going there. Can't really blame them.

Hearing good things on Phillips and Amadi. We're recruiting Phillips as an OT, and selling Amadi on being our star return specialist.

We've always been recruiting Phillips as an OT, so that's not new. The last report I read on Amadi just talked about how Jones was showing him videos of kick returns at Central Michigan(Antonio Brown) and Cincinnati, and just selling him on previous success.

I just can't imagine Phillips wanting to be an OT. it'll take forever to gain the weight and learn the position. Just seems odd to me.

Yeah I think we all are agreeing that Ugo is gonna flip. A few months ago most of us had accepted that but then Phillips started showing so much interest it made us forget about that.

Those converted DEs sometime make the best OTs. More athletic, better feet, etc. I think I remember reading he's already in the mid 270s aproaching 280.
