2)Mullen --end of 2015

3)Bert end of 2014 after going ofer in sec play again.

how exactly do you list the coaches in this order...

quote:

1)Freeze -- end of 2016

2)Mullen --end of 2015

3)Bert end of 2014 after going ofer in sec play again.

yet put the years fired in reverse order?

1. Bert. Arkansas was on the brink of relevance when Ole Bobby P started dipping his quill in the office ink supply. They got a taste of success. It's hard to go back to being complete dogshit. Hell, Nutt was a lot better than this. They'll be looking for a real coach sooner rather than later.

Edited to remove SEC East Team. Should have read the title more closely.

Bert will definitely be the next. 5 west teams are in the Top 15 and State will be in the top 25 soon so it's kind of hard to say after that. The other six coaches besides Bert are winning and have quite a bit of security

I don't see any way Freeze and Mullen are fired when you say they are unless major recruiting violations or scandal occur or the bottom just completely falls out and they have like a 1-11 or 2-10 type year, which seems extremely unlikely

I agree on Freeze and Mullen, but why the hell would anyone keep Bert around? He sucks. Arky fans aren't going to settle for zero to two win SEC seasons year after year. I don't see any indication that they're improving.

Unfortunately both Freeze and Mullen have unrealistic expectations placed on them for resources and talent that they are contstrained by....
I don't buy the State hype...they'll start well and the SEC schedule will drown them yet again. 4 Sec west teams out talent them.
Ole Miss might have the talent, but they also have Bo Wallace and we know how Bo plays.

no they don't. It's not like we are expected to win the SEC.

Haven't you heard? 8 wins after consecutive bowl wins is unrealistic.

Based on the hype from the media for State, you'd think winning the west is an expectation for them this year....but the reality among the State fans might be different.

It will be the guy that replaces either:

Sumlin (leaves voluntarily for better job/ nfl)
Miles (retires)
Saban (retires)

I think it will be a while before a west coach gets fired.

not a chance he's fired after this season. arkansas is not going to fire a coach who entered a situation like he did after year 2. no, he has not done well thus far, but it isn't like he took over a team with a lot to work with. if arkansas gives him only 2 years to produce, no one else will want to coach there.

Probably Freeze, Bielema is outrecruiting him by a huge margin right now after a 3-9 season. That really shouldn't happen.
