Take a look

Good luck

Looks like we have several in GA, but didn't see any Athens myself. Maybe some may still be able to give you some info.

Despite the UGA in the air, Athens is pretty great.

Why in the actual frick would you move to Athens?

Other than living in Tuscaloosa, I cant think of a place I would rather not live as an AU grad.

Why? Athens is awesome. Not sure on job availability but it's a great little town.

Guess I hate the dawgs more than most. Daughter graduated from there in the spring. Now can go back to full time leghumper disdain.

Yes.

I told her when she went to UGA I was willing to suspend full jihad for 4 years. Then it would be full on again.

We are now back to my normal level of leghumper dislike. I live and work and am related to these people. I dislike Georgia WAAAAY more than Bama.

Wife is opposite, but she grew up in Montgomery and birmingham in the 70's so she knows their shite up close and personal.

Work, I've been commuting from Atlanta for a year and I'm tired of paying the money to live in Atlanta and drive in everyday.

Athens is cool and the people that live there are actually pretty great compared to most native fans of SEC schools.

Makes sense, though I dont think I could live in Athens. Probably would move to Winder or some place closer than Atlanta but not into Athens.

There is nothing good coming out of Athens other than Hwy 78.

Athens is a great town to live. You 'll prolly want to move & live outside of town away from college shenanigans, but as far as living & raising a family Oconee Co is one of the best places in the country.
