East Carolina getting 16.5 points vs. South Carolina

Anyone think this is a bit ridiculous
East Carolina is an AAC contender and they are playing South Carolina who will be demoralized and not have a lot of confidence on Saturday. It's tough to go back out there against a non-SEC team after your season was basically ruined on Day 1.
To make matters worse the South Carolina secondary which was exposed vs. A&M has to face another competent air raid attack, led by senior QB Shane Carden and WR Justin Hardy who are rewriting the record books at ECU. If South Carolina can't get a pass rush ECU is more than capable of hurting USC through the air
Question marks remain on ECU's defense, they held North Carolina Central to 0 offensive points but again its NCCU so can't really gauge anything from that. ECU has always had an average defense at best and bad defense at worst under Ruffin McNeil. South Carolina should be able to score in the 30s worst case scenario but can they keep East Carolina out of the 30s?

I'm just curious if the look-ahead mentality is going to be involved with the UGA game in two weeks or if their guys are already so demoralized after the A&M game that they just want to play anyone to wash the taste out of their mouths.

The fact that the line is -16.5 means that Vegas is begging for USC action because they know ECU is the play
If they knew the play was SCAR it would be 17.5

USCe with 2 extra days rest and they need it after being unprepared last game.
Their Defense gave up against aTm. They'll be better, just don't know about ECU and their ability to keep it close.

ECU is a good program that's enjoyed some moderate to high success lately.
They embarrassed a pretty decent Larry Fedora coached North Carolina last year at home.
