Said this on a radio broadcast from the State Fair:

The Gophers will not compete at a natioanal level in football because they are not willing to cheat at the level of the Southeastern Conference.

Their basketball team had one of the worst academic scandals you could have under Clem Haskins.

The Big 10 accusing the SEC of cheating is hilarious. In the words of the great Charles Barkley....

"That's like Snooki going up to Halle Berry and calling her ugly. Are you serious?"

I completely agree with that. SEC schools cheat like crazy. Everyone knows this. Any time I hear an SEC fan accuse another SEC school of cheating, I bust out laughing. Any successful football school is cheating. Basketball is even worse.

LSU does not cheat to my knowledge. Now A&M and Auburn are a different story altogether. Look at the Hogville elevator thread for all the proof you need.

Is there a sport Minnesota actually does compete on a national level?

D-1 hockey. Not only do they win titles, their title teams normally have mostly Minnesotans. Boston U., Boston College, Maine,
Michigan State, etc., rely heavily on Canadians.

At least they may have finally stopped crying about Bountygate and the 2009 NFC Championship game.
