I know some of you didn't make it to the game yesterday, but I wanted to see what everyone thought of some of the new things that I saw while at the game.

1. Drumline warm up with the entire team before the game

2. Third Down for What

3. New Songs from the band (Game of Thrones, etc.)

4. New line-up announcements (seemed very NFL like)

5. Super short halftime show

I was very impressed with the new things that I saw, really got the crowd into the game and Neyland was LOUD again. Glad they are finally making some changes to the game atmosphere, it definitely needed it in my opinion

1. Drumline thing was awesome. AJ throwing his dreads around in the middle was legit.

2. Legit. May get annoying by the end of the year.

3. Honestly I don't find myself paying much attention to the band during the game..

4. I was only halfway listening pre game because I was hiding from the rain.. but sounded good.

5. Loved the short halftime show.

Also, the pre game V-O-L-S cheer the cheerleaders do was majorly improved by actually using a microphone instead of a megaphone.. that's bothered me the last couple years.

It was a great night in Neyland.

I didn't get to my seat until right after kickoff, so I missed some stuff.

2. This shite cracked me up for some reason, but it worked getting people out of their seats. Even the olds around me were getting loud.

3. It's been many years since I've been to a game so I don't know what they usually play. However, I noticed a pink Floyd tune and they didn't play Rocky Top for everything. Or maybe they did, but it didn't seem like it.

4. Didn't catch this

5. Definitely enjoyed the short show. Hopefully they keep it that way.

I had a fricking awesome time at the game.

I'm glad the band quit playing living on a prayer.

That's just the wrong message to send.

But I liked all the changes. Third down for what is going to help the crowd get amped at the right times.

Can't even imagine how loud it's gonna be for Florida.

Atmosphere is a big deal, and I am glad ADs are paying attention to it. Kyle Field has really had problems with ads, commercials, spotlight features, etc. It's just soooo boring staring at the jumbotron listening to commercials, or some BMA getting their dick stroked because they donated something. We don't pipe in music, I always find that strange at opposing stadiums hearing music by something other than the band, but I guess it's normal.

Maybe it was just my drunk arse watching on TV, but I missed hearing Rock Top 500,000 time during the game. Felt kinda like we dumped tradition for frickin Lil Jon.

We played Rocky Top at least 200 times. Trust me, that didn't change

I'm not really for piping in music. But the "Third Down for What" really worked. It's ridiculous, repetitive, and non-fans will tire of it...but for those who like to see fans get loud on third down, it absolutely worked. It's like a dinner bell.
