On this day in 1939 the war of Polish Aggression began with the seizure of the Gleiwitz Radio Tower in Upper Silesia, Germany by Polish Soldiers.

The Soldiers broadcast a number of anti-German messages before the station was recaptured.

This was proven to be the final straw in a series of aggressive acts by the Poles since 1918.

Despite winning a resounding victory on the Eastern Front in World War One Germany was stripped of several territories that had been German for nearly a millennia. Proof is in the maps:

It started with the Teutonic Knights ("Deutscher Orden" or "German Order") who settled the area and created the Teutonic State in a 13th Century Crusade to Christianize the Baltic:

This continued into golden era of the first German Reich

...and into the second Reich:

Then, at the end of World War One, despite defeating the Russians and driving them to peace in the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk. Despite the fact that the Germans had never been defeated on the field of battle, no blood had been shed on German soil and the Kaiser's Army had advanced within five miles of Paris the Germans sued for peace and lost the negotiations. Many Germans in these traditionally German areas were driven to live under Polish rule in a new Polish state...and we're not even going to talk about how the same thing happened in the West with Elsaß-Lothringen and Straßburg.

Many plebiscites were held in these areas after Versailles and most all of them voted to remain German but still these territories were handed to Poland. West Prussia, Prussian since 1466 and before that German under the Tetuonic Knights was one of these territories:

Danzig, a Germany City for seven hundred years was also stripped away from Germany.

Emboldened by their diplomatic victories Poles began attacking Germans civilians and authorities in those territories that remained German in the Silesian Uprisings of 1918-1921. They did this in the hope of forcing Germans out of the area so they could win the plebiscites. Polish insurgents:

In 1938 Germany annexed the Sudetenland, a traditionally German area that had been given to the Czechs causing international uproar.

Maps of Germans by percentage in the interwar Sudetenland:

Hitler was painted as being some terribly evil guy at the time (which he was because of the holocaust but that's a different issue) despite the fact that the Americans and Brits did this in the past with Texas, Ireland and so on.

In response to the reunification of Germany the English got ansy and signed a treaty of "defense" with Poland in March of 1939. Emboldened once more the Poles began probing German borders and got themselves in a world of hurt.

But that's not what you'll read in any textbooks.

Nope, Germany was bent on world domination. yada yada yada.

Jewish banks also backed Allies in WW1 in a deal to get the British Empire to help them move the Zionist back to Palestine and steal the land. That Jewish backing is why Germany hated the Jews. Which of course is sort of curiously skipped over in History books. Not to mention the genocides of Palestine.

Was with you up until this. Genocides? Hardly. If Israel wanted to eliminate every Palestinian from the face of the earth, they could do it, easily.

God, the same one who loves all of his creations, gave them the go-ahead in the Old Testament to do it.

I notice you ignored the other part of my post Like I said, IF ISRAEL WANTED TO ELIMINATE EVERY PALESTINIAN FROM THE FACE OF THE EARTH, THEY COULD DO IT, EASILY. If they were the thugs that you claim they are, the casualties would be 10x what they are now.

They've warned them in advance, every time. Hamas stores weapons in these "villages", keeps breaking ceasefires, and has been using civilians as human shields.

Sorry that Israel is better at warfare than Hamas, don't start no shite, won't be no shite.

I noticed you skipped about 60 years of history where it was convenient to act like Palestinians are the aggressors. It was the Zionist that poured their people in from Europe and stole the Palestinian land and holocausted their villages with the back of Allies. If you want to be woefully ignorant of history then it is your choice to be a fricking moron. So be it.

I'm being woefully ignorant? Holy shite

Since 1948, not a square inch of Israel's territorial gains have come from Israel attacking Arabs, but rather from Arabs attacking Israel and getting their asses kicked over and over again.

And Israel has always tried to give the land back in exchange for peace, as it did when it voluntarily returned the Sinai Peninsula – which is bigger than Israel itself – back to the Egyptians who had tried to attack them from the Sinai, and likewise, they gave the Gaza Strip back to the Palestinians who had attacked them – from................WAIT FOR IT............ the Gaza strip.

Since then, thousands – thousands! -- of rockets and mortars have been fired into Israel from schoolyards and orphanages and hospitals in -- Gaza.

How many rockets and mortars would you allow to fall on your house by neighbors that have been swearing to kill you for 65 years? How many times will someone keep hitting you before you hit back?

You wanna blame the Allies for the establishment of a Jewish state, fine, I'll even agree with you there. But on everything else, including the "genocide of Palestinians", you're full of shite.

You do realize that antisemitism has a loooooong history in Europe? Rabid antisemitism predated WW1 by centuries.

The Jews, along with communists were blamed for Germany's defeat in WWI because they were convenient scapegoats. A two front war and the naval blockade of Germany were the actual culprits...along with horrible allies, bad leadership from the Kaiser and bad military decisions.
