But they just announced David Ash will not play vs. BYU.

The dumpster fire will be ROARING Saturday night.

Concussion-like symptoms. He's done.

To put it into perspective and Aggie-football related:

When Jared Morris went down for the season against Utah in 2003, it broke the defense. If you recall, we started a walk-on (Scott Stickane) at MLB the rest of the way.

According to Strong, Ash took a hit during the first quarter of Texas' 38-7 win over North Texas, and appeared fine with no ill effects. Texas trainers then received a call from Ash in the middle of the night. Strong said that some of the post-game symptoms Ash exhibited were headaches and dizziness.

I think its time for Ash to hang em up. Its sad when head trauma strikes someone, especially someone so young. Reminds me of Swope.

They also had to replace their redshirt-senior center with 40 starts cause he broke his ankle.

Let's see, walkon center, Swoopes at QB.

BYU - Loss
UCLA -
at Kansas - Win
Baylor -
Oklahoma -
Iowa St - Win
at KSU - Loss
at Texas Tech - Tossup
West Virginia - Tossup
at Oklahoma State -
TCU - Tossup

Anywhere between 3-9 and 6-6 this year.

I watched a little bit of the game. They pretty much kept Ash in the entire time.

Looked like he was playing smarter and sliding instead of taking on tacklers. I saw him take a hard hit on the sideline in the second half but it was not helmet-to-helmet. It was the kind of hit that occurs periodically to any QB and was not a highlight reel hit.

Almost every team has depth issues at certain positions. Mack's QB and OL recruiting has left the horns in a world of hurt with what has happened to Ash and Espinosa.

I do care. Work with and around too many of those wankers not to care. I want to see them lose and lose often.

It's funny to see them panic, over react, and make excuses regarding A&M now that the playing field is even. Their psyche cannot take it. Full meltdown going on over there.

They are now using Baylor as a measuring stick for themselves. Really is funny to watch.

Wonder what ketch is going to be saying about him now. This was from April.

If the concussions are that delayed, he may already have irreversible head trauma. If Strong doesn't step in, someone higher up may have to.

Sucks for Ash. He will never play another down of football. Hope he has great things in life.

And its great that its happening to the horns. They have Swoopes who went something like 2-8 in 2A his last year and I haven't heard anyone say a good thing about. This year is gonna be a disaster!

At this point Ash and his family need to think about his long term health.

I'm way behind the curve here. Don't know anything about Ash's concussion history. Can somebody throw me a few crumbs?

Ash got knocked out of games in 2011, 2012, and 2013 due to concussions. He missed the entire second half on 2013.
