Noticed a lot of young guys but they stepped it up the second half.

Too early to tell. But it's not worse. The DBs are lights out. If some depth at DL can be attained, it will be a better defense.

Secondary looked great. (Although this may have had more to do with Wisc's QB situation.) Their scheme will still beat A&M imo, and the linebackers look good. Still a great squad.

we will see in the next few games when we have more than 3 DTs available. We had to start rotating DE at DT vs Wisky, and that hurt us physically.

Jalen Mills is fit for a big year, he looked great at FS

Hard to tell. We were missing a couple of key players at CB and DT. Defense really stepped in up in the 2nd half, but that coincided with the mysterious disappearance of MGIII from the game.

Secondary is beastly

LBs are decent with Kwon Alexander being a stud

Dline needs some work

We wnt know about the defense till more than 1/3 of our DTs are available to play.

Also, Welter still sucks, hope we go to Beckwith.

DBs are likely best in country, they are sick.

Huge win for the D's confidence
CB's played great. Tackling and DLine in the first half was shite but Wisconsins oline played great.

Need to destroy the next two cupcakes to keep it rolling till we hit the tough part of the schedule in Nov

Who are the DLs to keep an eye on?

One of the best in the country, IMO. They didn't do anything fancy or tricky. They just lined up and mowed our dline down.

Strangely, Wisconsin thought that it was a good idea to start throwing the ball with a comfortable lead. Granted, LSU was selling out to stop the run at that point. Stuffed Gordon a couple times and they didn't give him the ball again.

Pretty crazy decision-making, honestly. But gotta give LSU front seven credit for finally putting a cork in that bottle.

To be completely honest there are no standouts right now, but four solid guys across the board with some youngins getting some playing time behon them.

Lacouture is a really good DT. Hunter is a really good pass rushing DE. Tashawn Bower played great last night and I think he is better than the starter, Rasco.

Secondary is disgusting. One of the best we've had. Deep at every position.

LB's are better. Kwon may be the best player on our team period. Dude just makes tackles. Thanks for that one, Bama. Welter actually looked kinda good. Our depth at LB is really good too.

DL looked inconsistent. The DE's didn't get much pressure in the first half, but caused a lot of havoc in the second. Tashawn Bower and Danielle Hunter should be our starters IMO. The DT's didn't get penetration most of the time, but they didn't get blown off the line either, so that's good. Especially against a team like Wisconsin. They would have had a few sacks against an experienced QB who knew it was better to take a sack than throw a ball into no-man's land, rather than McEvoy.

Overall, I think this D will be one of the best in the country again.
