Texas A&m- very impressive offensive attack, still shaky defense. Will be a very good team this year but any Aggie fans that think your gonna run away with the SEC strap up its a long ride
South Caro- Lost to a very good team but lost at home. The defense is pathetic, not quite sure on the Offense
Auburn- Jeremy Johnson should be a big part of the offense he can sling it much better than Marshal. Duke Williams is a stud, they need to put the ball in his hands. But note to Auburn fans you were tied with Arkansas in the third quarter, at home..
Georgia- Gurley and the stable.. Enough said
Mizzou- Played a cupcake not really Sure about them
Kentucky- same as Mizzou but look improved
Tennessee- did not watch one minute chime in about them
Bama- struggled with a subpar West Va team. Expect Saban to light a fire under their arse. The stable of Rb's looks as good as ever, d a little Shaky
Vandy- well it was fun while it lasted...
Ole Miss- came around in the second half, yes Bro Wallace still sucks, pretty impressive Defense though
Moo St- Cupcake but got the job done with a shutout, they will upset someone this year not sure who
LSU- Tale of two halfs, broke in our QB in the second half. Very impressed with the WR's, run D was bad, but played the best RB in the country. Pass D is unbelievable and was missing the best cover man on the squad. DBU is still here.
Arkansas- very improved from last year, might be bowl eligible. Can run on anybody, hung in there on the road in a tough environment. Bert has them moving in the right Direction
SEC outlook- gonna be a roller coaster this year, UGA and aTm look to be the front runners but I believe this will be a crazy year in the SEC strap up and enjoy the ride

Auburn is impressive, but I expected y'all to blowout Arkansas. To me it proves that Arkansas is just better then they were last year

wtf is a blowout these days? we beat them by 24. an sec team. 24 pts to any sec team is a blowout minus vandy or uk.
once marshall came in we dominated
im sure uga blew out clemson though

Pass D was unbelievable for LSU? Probably because Wisconsin doesn't have a passing game. I know you guys have talent in the back 4, but defending Wisconsin's passing game hardly proves your point.
Pretty solid analysis overall.

We were favored by 21 and won by 24. What else do you want?

I think A&M played well, but the fact that they played two freshman corners and USCe couldn't get a pass rush helped them out greatly.

granted their QB can't hit the broad side of a barn, bu their WRs were blanketed all night.

Wisconsin's QB looked pretty horrible. Still think you have a good secondary, but the QB and WR's LSU just played are a joke.

WTF they did blow them out. And they did it with Marshall out for the first half. Quille was dominant, Artis-Payne ran for almost 200 yards, and Arkansas didn't score a point in the second half.
What about that win wasn't impressive?

Ole Miss was favored by 10.5 and won by 22, yet per the SEC Rant Ole Miss embarrassed the SEC...

LSU held a D-1 team to 50 yards passing. I'll take that all day.

Right. Their WR aren't SEC quality either IMO. Either way, LSU has athletes back there, but saying LSU's pass D was amazing against Wisconsin is meaningless.
I thought LSU's D as a whole started to gel in the 2nd half. Defensively, that's about all I gathered for LSU in the Wisconsin game.

Oh for Christ sake, LSU, you were losing to Arkansas in the fourth quarter @ Home last year. STFU already
Posted on 8/31/14 at 10:56 pm to bherm1988
Their QB can't throw, it was pretty obvious.

The true freshman safety is there to stay at the FS position. The CB was only starting due to a recent injury to the returning starter, who will be back. The other CB and his poor game were concerning for sure. The LB's are also a concern.
USCe couldn't get a pass rush because OLU doesn't allow a pass rush. The top defensive teams will get a decent rush, but this O line is every bit as good as the last two years. Ogbuehi might be an even better NFL LT than Matthews or Joeckel. Our o line, QB's and WR's can't be fricked with for the foreseeable future. Best talent at those 3 positions in the SEC
