Since he has taken a job with ESPN do we still have to keep paying his arse an absurd amount of money

I didn't say anything negative. He just left us out of the playoff. That's why I'm pissed. He has an interest in Auburn performing well enough to make the playoff.

The way it works is if he is employed elsewhere, Auburn can deduct his new paycheck from the total amount we owe him. I think this is the last year

I honestly don't think he made his own picks on that segment. I bet ESPN told him who to pick. Keeps him from looking like a homer and gives people something to talk about.

Correct. I was shocked he didn't try to go to a small school at a small salary just to try to get his resume built back up a bit.

Pretty interesting take from Coach Jack Crowe last night on the Game Day Bunker with Rob Pate. His suggestion was that the SECN would not have much of a pro Auburn agenda and would lean towards a Bama/LSU favor. Chiz's picks lead me to believe the SECN has more of an agenda than I would have hoped. Coach Crowe is right on.

I think some of you guys are reading to much into Chiz not having AU in the playoff at this time. He said he had the winner of the Iron Bowl in and the loser out. Whether someone has AU affiliation or not does not matter. There is logical thought for anyone who picks Bama to win that game. 1. It's over there. 2. Bama has a relative cakewalk to the iron bowl while we could very easily be beaten up from arguably one of the top 2 or 3 schedules in the nation. I love AU as much as anybody on this board but as of now I have Bama winning the Iron Bowl mainly due to reason #2.

Have to agree. Not in the least bothered by what any analyst suggests at the moment anyway. Nobody knows where this season is headed. I certainly don't feel like they sit around having meetings telling everyone what to say. A bit too conspiracy-like.

Maybe we can upgrade the stadium. If Baylor can spend 300 million on a new stadium, can't we spend 50 million on upgrades?
