I'm talking to all you fans of winning teams here.
Heed the following words of wisdom :
1. Your team won. Look around. Most teams had struggles in areas of their games that need lots of work.Even in aTm's blowout win,they left a couple of WRs wide open for easy scores.
2. No team wins every game convincingly. Ever. Too many examples to cite here.
3. Look at it this way: you want your team to improve as the year goes. How better to do this than to have a so so first game?
4. Who is our defending national champion and pre season #1? That team that needed a late turnover to secure a win over a depleted Cowboy squad?
5. Quit the bitching. Enjoy the wins and remember its just football. Not like a win will give you an extra week of vacation or an A in that hard class you're taking.
6. And lastly, leave the complaining to non SEC fans. They're the ones that need whine about going 0 - for the SEC over the weekend. (Not using Vandy in this discussion )

As an LSU fan, we definitely have room for improvement. Overall, I am pleased that we came back from a 17 point deficit. Now we have 2 cupcake games before SEC play begins.

No doubt about it, USM is arguably the worst team in FBS.

No Debbie Downer here. We just destroyed a former C-USA champion in what is now one of the loudest stadiums in college football.

I love the eternal optimism of the MS State fans. No matter how many times it is shown to be unwarranted they keep coming back for more.

Every year. We get our hearts ripped out, but also have some of the best memories at State games. That's why we play the game

There were 3 different possessions where you were 1st and goal and came away with ZERO points against the Golden Eagles.
That is NOT a complete game.

Just rewatched the state game. I wasn't impressed. Lots of mistakes against a team that's won 1 game in two years.
