He had no space to work with ,on any of his carries. Dropped a screen pass and option pitch. Hopefully just first game jitters

I admit after all the talk going into the season I was terrified of LF. I'm sure he will be great, but I don't have the nightmare of him busting out for 150+ against us this year anymore.

He had decent return yardage. However, I felt like at times he looked like a typical freshman not yet adjusted to the college game. Tried to bounce most of his carries to the outside instead of hitting the hole.

I agree. Maybe, though, the lackluster performance last night will slow the roll on the self-promotion and all of the fanbois who are sure he's the next Adrian Peterson. Let him actually do something at the college level first!
