What did you think about mixing in HUNH?

The Offense was effective and Sims was comfortable in HUNH. We're not gonna be a HUNH, nor should we try to be. But I personally liked the bursts of it mixed in. It's too hard for defenses to be ready to stop Coop/White/Yeldon/Henry/etc when we hurry and are in rhythm.

Agreed. I like it and think we should do more of it.

If we are going to have Sims as our QB it makes sense. I still hate it though.

The thing that is driving me crazy is we have the best deep threat in the FBS and he wont be getting any deep balls. I mean. What the frick.

Agreed. We had 3 years to find a replacement and we failed.

I liked it. Sims needs all the help he can get to find a rhythm. I hope we keep mixing it in.

Anything we do to give different looks is a good thing.

I liked some of the new stuff the offense showed. We were a bit different than people think, and I imagine we only used about 15-20% of the offense. Kiffin will continue to install and late in the year this thing will be something.

I also give him a whole lot of credit for Blake Sims performance. I really don't think we would have seen anything near that level of play with the old OC.

Definitely. Kiffin being on the sidelines helped too. He could talk things over with Sims and explain exactly what he needed to do.

We had 2 years to find a replacement for Foster, knowing after 9-6 that he couldn't make a FG from distance with the game on the line to save his life...but we stuck with him for two years....Foster couldn't make one against Georgia in the SECCG when we needed one and he couldn't against Auburn. One almost cost us a national championship, and the other did. We made no changes, and we apparently made no effort to change

Now, as far as failing to find a QB replacement, we were able to recruit and sign the #3 pro style QB in the country in 2014 and the #11 in 2013. Both 4 stars. So at some point the failure is less about finding one and more about coaching them up or them just failing to perform as players.

Yeah, we got two really good QBs the last two years. Bateman (#4 Pro Style QB) and Cornwell (#4 Pro Style QB).

And for Cornwell, I'd argue he'd have been top 2 if he hadn't missed some of the season. His upside is huuuuuuuuuuuuge.

Plus we've got Barnett committed. #1 Dual Threat QB.

The future at the position is bright.

And I'm putting a lot of the blame on our QB coaches.
