Watching college football final, it's weird how similar ours and the Georgia-Clemson game was. Clemson had 274 yards and 21 points at halftime and was giving Georgia a game @ Georgia. After the half they had 0 rushing yards and 0 points with 1 first down and Georgia went on to score 45 points.

If that makes anyone feel any better

We looked pretty damn good in the first half. Second half was bad, but a pick 6 is demoralizing for both sides of the ball. Especially when we had a chance to drive down and tie the game and instead we're down 14. Hard to come back from that mentally.

I was actually talking about this same thing with the people I watched the game with today. Clemson loses 45-21 to a top 10 team and will still be highly thought of and a top 25 team on Monday. We lost 45-21 to a 10 team and yet we're apparently garbage and will never win another league game. It's funny to see how people react.

Saban makes a good point here about media creating perceptions coming into a new season. The new polls should have radical movement but won't because people don't want to be wrong with their preseason projections.

Hey, not sure if this post is welcome or not but I caught your game, well most parts of it at least today.

Your team looks much better than last year. That was a tough way to open the season with a conference game. Thats the one thing about the SEC coming from the Big 12 that worried me was when Mizzou gets the call to put all on the table on week one. Anyway...

There is no question that Arkansas is better than last year. The improvement was very clear, to me at least.

Seems like the ship is headed in the right direction. I think Bert is a good coach with a long term plan and that's definitely showing signs in year two.

Good luck Hogs. Sure we will see some of you in Columbia this fall.

For years I have had the belief that there shouldn't be a poll until October sometime. Alas, TV rules the world of college football so we'll have many useless (and completely bias) polls, 11 am kick offs and Notre Dame crammed down our throats.

On watching the replay of that pick 6, I noticed Hatcher already had at least 2 yards of separation on the corner. If BA gets time to get a good throw off, its a touchdown. Of course, Hatcher still has to catch it which is obviously 50-50 at this point.

The biggest hurdle Bert has on his plate is the teams mentality.

I told those I watched the game with yesterday when that pick happened, this game is over.

No matter if any of us want to admit it or not, most of our players are losers. They don't know how to win. They haven't won. There is a group of upperclassmen who have 2 SEC wins in their careers.

The interception last night was more than just an interception. It was a killer. Every little mistake this team makes is going to be a killer in second halves until we string some wins together.

It's mental with this group more than anything. Mental, takes longer than physical when you've not had many wins since 2011....and it's 2014

Well, we did come back from two scores down to tie it in the 2nd. Perhaps there's some hope for improvement on that front. Next week should convince this team that their hard work is paying off.

Not first half mistakes I'm talking about....2nd half mistakes when football players start feeling pressure of winning....those mistakes, no matter how small are always magnified in your mind.

A great performance against Nichols St. should do wonders and build BA's confidence heading down to Lubbock the following week

They won't be banned for long. Arky is much improved. Auburn is also improved which masked the progress Arky has made. I hope the good ones get back quickly and the bad ones forget how to use the internet.

I am also very glad we won't have to fight an O line like yours for the rest of the year. We were getting mauled. Not sure what happened in the second half.
