Damn, was not expecting that at all.

Sumlin and Spavital are really good offensive minds. SC is not good on defense and TAMU pretty much gave every team in the East the blueprint on how to beat them. Dylan Thompson isn't a bad QB but he is a step down from Conner Shaw. Having said all that, it was the first game of the season and overreactions are at all time highs at this point.

The takeaway is that if Driskel plays well. UF can win the East.

SC was overhyped. I kept saying it all offseason, you don't lose your best defensive player and QB of all time and just replace them without missing a beat. That back 4 is bad on d as well.

Which is why the key to this whole season is Driskel and the offense.

USC lost 3 very good DL and it showed. Plus they showed up unprepared. Thompson is not that great of a passer...Mike Davis is good when USC has lead and playing non elite teams.
Just hoping the embarrassment will fire up USC to played at 110% to beat UGA in two weeks. I marked down every home game as a W this year...USC included. We will win the east...beating the dawgs in the WLOCP...our defense wont let Gurley get his yards and we have to make UGA play from behind to keep ball out of his hands.
