They were highlighting him last night and he appears to be a big part of Sumlins sucess.
I thought A&M would slide back in Year 2 without Kingsbury but that does not seem to be the case so far.

Sumlin has had a different oc almost every year the past 5 years and has still field top offenses. He lays down expectations and base ground work and the oc goes nutso with it.

Spav is the OC as well, he came from WVU. He's 29 but he will be a head coach soon and Sumlin will have to find and train another protege. Spav is awesome though and laid back as shite.

He's a CGM disciple. Cut his teeth under him at Tulsa.

He was at Tulsa for one year as a grad assistant in 08. Rest of his time has been under Holgs and Sumlin

1 year at UH as a grad asst, now two years at A&M. So three. Then three under Holgorsen at OSU and WVU
