This totally hasn't been posted 7,000 times since the end of the game.

You are the first one to make this thread. Much wow. Such insight.

We will all sit back and anticipate the next great thread from you. I'm sure it will be stimulating and insightful, but not all people can be the intellectual giants Auburn fans claim to be.

I have a suspicion that with A&M riding high, they're suddenly going to resume their pursuit of a gump romance

Heres the thing, if you give Saban the players on USC's team, just about the same thing is happening, but Saban will have taken 6 months off his life worrying about it.

If last nights beat down results in even a temporary halt of Spurriers shite talking, A&M has my thanks.

Damn that was fun to watch, and perfectly timed after Spurriers golf comment.

The fact that bammers feel the need to get some type of revenge against Spurrier is really just more proof that bammers entire self worth revolves around football and they cant let anything go that insults their beloved football program

It's awesome too, because it's not even an insult. I mean, Spurrier has obviously shite on Bama before, for good reason, but I highly doubt Spurrier has anything but respect for Saban's ability as a coach.

But, he can say something like this, which facially isn't even pejorative, and Bama fans go into a tailspin

Yes, that makes complete sense. Bama fans on an SEC Sports message board - talking trash about a coach who has repeatedly poked at Alabama and Nick Saban is absolutely indicative of how we derive our own self worth.

Are you retarded?

Maybe it has to do with a head coach talking shite about UA than getting it thrown back into his face. Maybe that's why UA fans are making these threads.

Spurrier has talked shite about Bama all offseason. First game out of the gate he gets his arse handed to him.

If taking a little pleasure in this turn of events makes me a bad person, so be it. No shame in my game

Much easier to say SOS is in Bama's head and/or that Bammers are obsessed with football (kind of an odd comment from a dude with a 1000+ posts on a football message board) than just admit SOS looked foolish after his Saban comment when his team was completely unprepared.
