With Ben Tate and Dion Lewis playing sparingly, Crowell finally got an extensive chance in the preseason. The former five-star recruit made the most of it, thoroughly outplaying a disappointing Terrance West (six carries, 13 yards). The Browns may have shot themselves in the foot now though, as Crowell will be almost impossible to sneak onto the practice squad. From everything I've read, he has grown tremendously as a person since his UGA days. Wish him only the best and hope he makes it in the NFL.

Gurley is better. Could have used him last season, yea. But we may not have gotten Todd if Marshall was committed along with Crow coming back. Just speculation though..

He learned his lesson and appears to have made the most of his 2nd chance. Glad he's getting his shot in the NFL.
