I think that defense will cost them some games unless it gets a lot better and a lot faster.
They were way worse on the DL and in the secondary.

Honestly, I have no clue how they're going to finish the season. If that defense is really as bad as it looked tonight, they're in for a long season. But I imagine they'll get a bit better, they hope.

They remind me of nothing so much as 2012 Arkansas, with slightly better athletes on defense. Scheme wise, they're working hard to hide some serious deficiencies. Perhaps A&M was far better at isolating and exploiting those weaknesses than other teams will be, but I don't know. I'll say 7-5, but if Mike Davis gets hurt, it could easily become a 4-8 type team.

They'll probably only drop 1 in the polls because they are SEC though.
I don't see how anybody can argue they will beat Clemson at Clemson given Clemson has lot better talent on defense than Texas AM.
Without a good pass rush, SC's defense can be exposed by a good QB.
