I love the idea. The players love him, and he can coach everyone up a lot easier on the field than from the box.

Hasn't Smart been on the sideline from the word go? I love it, especially with the two QB system we're gonna start out with.

Give the man a tablet so he can see the defensive sets and let him go wide arse open with the players on the sideline.

If you read the media notes from rolltide.com for this week it actually listed him as being in the pressbox. I wonder how long this has been the plan.
